Sow seeds 1-2’ apart with a depth of ½” topped soil. Seedlings will appear after 7-14 days after sowing. Thin gradually to stand 6” apart starting when seedlings are about 1-2” high. Do not thin baby leaf spinach. Spinach is a shallow rooted green, so be sure to not overwater or disturb the soil nearest the roots. You may harvest baby spinach once leaves have reached 2”, or harvest when fully mature leaves are approximately 3” long. Bloomsdale Spinach may be enjoyed raw, fried, steamed, in salads and much more! Store in a perforated bag and refrigerate for up to a week.
