The Golden Acre cabbage will grow best with full or partial sun, and the soil moist but not over saturated. You may begin growing indoors and then later transplant outside. Before moving, it is best to “harden” the vegetable first. Do this over the course of 1-2 weeks by moving them into induvial pots outdoors but in a sheltered area. The seedlings will do best in a composted, moist soil. At around 8 weeks, the heads should be firm with a diameter of about 5-7 inches wide. When this stage is reached, the Golden Acre cabbage can be harvested. When doing this, you will need to also remove the entire stem, root, and outer leaves.
